Is there an offer in compromise calculator?

Updated October 8, 20263 sourcesTaxTruce teamFact checked
The short answer

Yes. The IRS has a free Offer in Compromise Pre-Qualifier tool. It checks if you may be eligible and helps you prepare a starting offer. It does not mean the IRS will accept your offer. Most are not accepted.
